Jeff Smith from Salt & Light Ministries

This month we had the most phenomenol time at NSBC's Family Retreat. Our Speaker for the 2 day event was Jeff Smith from Salt & Light Ministries. This man has a gift for engaging all ages from 5 years to 90! It's a tall order to pull off something like that and most of us didn't believe anyone could do that. But Jeff Smith delivered. He was a funny at the right times, silly at the right times, and serious at the right times. We learned a lot through songs, interactive stories, and performances. It was amazing.

The next day, after leading the retreat, he also spoke at our service that morning and lead a class on how to do what he does. It was so interesting and informative. I was so insanely inspired that I went home and wrote down some lyrics the next day. I can't stop the creativity from pouring out of me now. My only limitation is minimal spare time to do it in.

I don't come close to Jeff's abilities in anyway. But I'm I've started on a new way to share God's Word with others and I hope this new found passion never goes away.
